Nature Playgroup
Join us for a fun-filled Nature Playgroup event, open to all families in our community! 🌿 This drop-in, stay and play offering welcoming families and children of all ages, including babies in arms and elementary aged siblings. At Nature Playgroup, we believe in making nature-based play accessible to everyone, regardless of financial circumstances. That's why our program operates on a pay-as-you-can basis, ensuring that all families feel welcome and included. Come explore the wonders of nature with us, connect with other families, and enjoy quality time outdoors. We look forward to seeing you there!

Wild School
Join Us for a Summer Mini Session at Nature Play All Day!
Embrace the magic of summer with our one-week mini sessions at Nature Play All Day, a unique nature and play-based early childcare program nestled in the enchanting woods of Appleton, Maine. Each session runs from Monday to Thursday, 10 AM to 2 PM, offering a perfect blend of adventure, creativity, and connection.

Our programming mirrors the rhythms of our regular sessions, with nearly 100% of our activities taking place outdoors, except during severe weather. Each day is designed to facilitate long periods of uninterrupted exploration and play, fostering a deep connection with nature and igniting the wild spirit of childhood.
Daily Adventures Include:
Morning and Afternoon Circles: Start and end each day with grounding activities that foster community and reflection.
Community Table Lunches: Share a meal around our communal table, building bonds and savoring the joy of togetherness.
Mud Kitchen Creations: Unleash culinary creativity with mud pies and other delightful treats.
Hammock Time: Swing, rest, and dream in our cozy hammocks nestled in a serene pine grove.
Tool Time: Build, carve, and create with the guidance of our skilled teachers.
These mini summer "camps" are designed to bring play and wildness back to childhood, offering a sanctuary where children can explore, create, and grow in harmony with the natural world.
